About Tim Jones:
Tim, a partner at Glaister Ennor since 1980, heads the firm's Land Development and Property team. Tim is very hghly regarded amongst property law specialists and he has many years' experience advising clients in residential and commercial property transactions. This includes major land development projects the Auckland area.
Transaction expertise
• Until recently he was a member of the executive of the New Zealand Law Society Property Law Section and Tim continues to be involved as Sole Convener of the Land Titles System Technical Committee.
• He has been involved with the drafting of the REINZ Standard Agreement for Sale & Purchase and has run a series of seminars for agents on this subject and on real estate practice.
• He has presented numerous seminars on subdivision, building contracts, land title process and electronic registration throughout New Zealand on behalf of the New Zealand Law Society.
• He has been involved in the review of the Unit Titles Act and has acted for many developers and purchasers of Auckland apartments.
• He writes regularly for the property section of the New Zealand Herald.
