Resource Management
Glaister Ennor's Resource Management Team proactively and efficiently assists its clients to achieve their objectives, under the variety of legislation and planning documents relating to resource management and local government law in New Zealand.
We act for, advise and represent clients with a wide range of business and professional interests in respect of innovative and complex projects and developments. To secure the best outcomes for our clients we work with planners, surveyors, ecologists, engineers and other experts in their professions as required in each of the circumstances we deal with.
We keep our clients updated through presenting at our popular in-house lunchtime seminar series and also as guest speakers at external seminars.
Our practice includes:
• Resource management and local government issues in land and building purchases, developments and commercial projects
• Resource consent and building consent processes with district and regional councils
• District and regional planning documents, including private plan changes
• Environment Court and other appeal litigation
• Alternative dispute resolution, including mediation and arbitration
• Other council and local government legal requirements including development contributions and bylaws
• Liquor licensing
• Environmental compliance and prosecution matters
• Building Act and Building Code requirements and compliance
